Fire and Flames

This piece was inspired by Grammy Award Winning Hip Hip artist Kendrick Lamar. The image is taken from a recent performance of his from 2022 as he is surrounded by a crowd of women with a crown of thorns. He portrays religious tones in much of his work and always delivers powerful lyrics where his voice may even change tones to convey the difference in subject matter or point of view. The imagery of the fire relates to his biblical spirit while it contrasts highly with a stark, black background.
